FAQ

Planning

How far ahead should we book?

For an ordinary weekend, a week or two usually gives a good choice. For the biggest events, such as Grand Prix week, the rodeo finals or New Year's Eve, book as early as you can, because aircraft and ramp space are committed early.

Can we fly in on one jet and home on another?

Yes. Two one-way trips on different aircraft can cost less than keeping one aircraft waiting, especially on longer stays. We will price both ways if it could make a difference.

What happens if our plans change?

Changes and cancellations follow the charter agreement, which differs by operator and by how close to departure the change is. We show the terms with each option before you book.

Do you arrange trips from outside the US?

Yes. International flights need a first landing at an airport with US customs, so your operator plans the route around it. CBP sets the rules for private arrivals.

FAQ

Airports and arrival

Is Harry Reid always the best choice?

It is the closest to the Strip and takes any aircraft, but on event weekends it can be congested. Henderson and North Las Vegas are quieter, with shorter runways that suit smaller jets best.

Can the car meet us at the aircraft?

Sometimes. It depends on the airport and the private terminal's rules. Where it is not allowed, the walk from aircraft to car is short.

What time zone is Las Vegas in?

Pacific Time, three hours behind New York. Flying west you gain three hours on the clock; flying home to the East Coast you give them back.

FAQ

Costs

Which taxes apply to a flight to Las Vegas?

Domestic charter carries 7.5% federal excise tax and a federal segment fee of about $5 per passenger per leg. Both are included in our quotes. The IRS publishes the excise tax rules.

Why do prices rise on big weekends?

Demand rises and nearby aircraft are booked first, so the aircraft that remain often have to fly in from farther away, adding repositioning time. Ramp fees and minimums can rise too.

Are animals allowed on board?

Many aircraft will take a pet once the operator has agreed. Mention the size and number of animals in your request so every option we send can carry them.
